A warm welcome from our Headteacher

It is a real privilege to welcome you to Ince Church of England Primary School and Nursery. Our school is a place full of heart, ambition, and determination, where every child is at the centre of all we do. I am delighted to lead such a dedicated team who work tirelessly to ensure that every child is known, loved, valued, and supported to succeed.

At Ince, our vision is rooted in the words of Matthew 5:16: “Let your light shine.

This vision shapes everything we do. We believe that every child has their own unique gifts and talents — their own “light” — and our role is to nurture these so they can flourish both in school and in life beyond. Whether through learning, creativity, kindness, resilience, or leadership, we want our children to shine brightly and to use their light to make a difference in the world.

We are committed to high standards and aspirations for all. Our curriculum is designed to inspire a love of learning, especially in reading, while ensuring that children develop the knowledge, skills, and character they need for future success. Alongside this, we place great emphasis on care, respect, kindness, and positive behaviour so that our school remains a safe, supportive, and joyful place to grow.

As a Church of England school, our Christian values underpin all that we do. We celebrate every child as a unique individual, and we want our children to leave Ince as confident, compassionate young people who are proud of who they are and ready to achieve great things.

I am personally committed to leading this school with care, integrity, and ambition. Every decision I make is driven by a deep belief in the potential of every child. My promise is that Ince will always be a place where children feel safe, inspired, and proud of who they are — a place where they can thrive academically, socially, emotionally, spiritually, and morally.

I am deeply proud to be leading this wonderful school family, and I warmly welcome you to visit us, meet our children, and experience the warmth, ambition, and sense of belonging that makes Ince Church of England Primary School such a special place.

With warmest regards,

Fiona Quinlivan

Headteacher
