GDPR
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is Europe’s new framework for data protection, which came into force on 25th May 2018, coinciding with the UK’s Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA 2018).
Since the UK left the EU, the GDPR has transformed into the UK GDPR and now operates alongside the DPA 2018. This arrangement will remain in place for the foreseeable future.
These new regulations work together to manage how information is collected, stored, and processed. Many organisations, including schools, academies, and other educational institutions, are now functioning within this updated legal framework.
Ince CE Primary School is actively collaborating with Judicium to ensure compliance with these new rules and regulations. We have revised many of our policies and procedures to enhance the protection of the data we hold about our pupils, parents, and staff.
Our GDPR Policy and CCTV policies can be found on our Policies page.
Photographic Consent
We require permission from a child's primary carer before using or sharing their image, either within the school or online. All parents and carers are asked to complete a photographic consent form when their child first joins the school. This consent will remain valid for the duration of the child's time at the school, unless it is withdrawn or updated.
If you wish to change your consent preferences at any time, please contact the school office to request a new form.
